1.Are you employed?

2.Where do you live currently?
Asked about my college and university ( when I started speaking, sir said ok good I see you have
prepared your DAF very well so I will not ask from your DAF, I kept smiling.
3.Is Jaipur metro city? Criteria?
4.Is Jaipur heritage city? Criteria?
5. I’m a layman, tell me how insurance works( I just graduated, I thought , why he asked me that but I
asked if can guess because I have limited knowledge on this issue, sir said go ahead

1. Is Jaipur metro under profit or loss?
2. Reservation policy? Status? Your stand? Give any of your personal reform you want to sugges
3. Why is reservation is given in India?
4. community agitation in Rajasthan (indirectly referred to Gurjar agitation)….steps taken by state
government…counter questions followed…Indra sawney case and Rajasthan high court verdicts.

8. What is science fiction? What have you learned from it? I said “nothing is impossible” what was
fiction in the past that we have converted into reality today …he said example..I said Landing on
Moon, robots, artificial intelligence,etc.

1. Have you heard about Anna Hazare? Why famous ?
2. Why need of Lokpal act? Counter questions followed..
3. Corruption is high among lower machinery, why this act can help on that?

4. Is member of parliament under ambit of Lokpal (I said- madam MPs including PM)
5. Alcohol good or bad? Should it be allowed or banned?

7. Betting? ..I asked to clarify the context if it was baiting (cyber)…she said betting on cricket and went to explain the global scenario.

Member-4 ( a military officer)
1. Indian economy? How is it doing? How do you see it?
2. Post Pulwama scenario? Is it a state of war? How do you see it? What has happened yet? How do you see future scenarios?
3. What are special forces?
4. Indian Navy vs merchant navy?
5. Have you ever tried to join armed forces? ( I told that I just graduated and my first
attempt , so not yet….he said oh I see that’s remarkable Tapendra..I said thank you sir
Then he said you should join armed forces… because your fitness is very good…all
members smiled and chairman said to me yes Tapendra you should try in armed forces
and it’s good how you managed fitbess with UPSC preparation…..I said thank you sir, I
would keep my fitness irrespective of my job profile…they all laughed.
6. Why not armed forces? Why civil services?
Then he said to chairman that I’m satisfied with him
Member-2 intervened and started factual questions
1. GDP of Rajasthan?
2. How many Lok sabha and rajya sabha constituencies from Rajasthan?
3. You have played basketball for state..well good…then tell me who is the winner in
Olympics? I said USA
4. Indian basketball status in Olympics? Asian games? South Asian games? ..I continuously
gave all answers correct and kept on smiling.
Then he also said to chairman well sir now I’m good.
Chairman asked all members that if you want to ask anymore? All said that no, we are done.
Chairman – ok Tapendra, your interview is over. We wish you all the best
I thanked chairman and everyone and said have a good day sirs and madam.
Total time- 30 to 35 minutes

M-3 and Lady member countered very much but got satisfied after
I answered their counter questions.
